HISTORY
"Quinta do Figueiral" at "Santo Estêvão" (Benavente) is an equestrian organization, that dedicates to the training and schooling of these horses on a long term bases. That is our main purpose, to prepare the horse, according to the horseman's need, establishing a symbiosis between both horse and rider, and combining movements of "dressage", of intricate maneuvers and displays of agility, that will allow them to succeed in the "arena".

The horses are mainly pure bred Lusitano and occasionally cross-bred-Lusitano but its selection process is essentially based on its ability for the bullfight. They go through a criterious selection at birth, and later on are submitted to a precise training in order to guarantee their performance in the "arena".
