I´m sorry, I do not speak Portuguese, so I´ll try in english hoping that most of you will understand me.
I´m a french owner of these wonderful portuguese horses: PS Lusitano.
I do breed a little with my 3 mares and I´m interested in to get some information about the Alter Real Stallion Plebeu who is the grandfather of 2 of my mares and Grand-grandfather of the third mare.
Do anybody have some pictures of this stallion ? (Don´t hesitate to send me a private message)
Or do you have some Press publication ? Or any other information or simply your owm opinion or experience.
Does Plebeu, who get his agreement with the very high score of 89,5 points, stilll represent the nowaday researched Lusitano type ?
I get this year 2 foals from my mares and the Alter Real stallion Cateto AR who is also a grandson of Plebeu trough his mother Ulpina AR and grandson of Vaporosa the mother of Plebeu through his father Treno AR.
What do you think about this experience of little imbreeding ?
Some people say it´s interesting, some other say we should rather look for genetic complementarity in other lines. What is your opinion about this ?
For now I´m satisfied with my 2 foals, I´ll see later if I´ll still be...
